Well, it's been a while since I posted, but this is why! After I recovered from the stomach flu, we hit the ground running with the final 2 weeks of rehearsals for our Christmas production. We just finished it a little over a week ago, and finally feel like we are catching our breath! The first act was set in the 1940's, and I played a member of the "Sandrews Sisters," a take-off on the Andrews sisters. They brought in hair people to do our hair in the exact style it was back then...wow, so much teasing and so many pins! When I got in my car, my hair touched the ceiling! The second act covered the life of Christ, and I sang a duet (Cross of Love from Savior)with the featured artist, Travis Cottrell. Travis leads worship for Beth Moore at her conferences and worked with Dick (our music minister) years ago. While my first pick is still my man Watson, it was fun to sing with Travis. Check out the pics of my huge hair and our Biblical outfits! Although we were exhausted, we had a blast, as always!
